A cold but beautifully sunny day, Reiss and I decide that we are going to do some rambling. Get the National Trust website up and after putting in our postcode a place called Danbury Commons and Blakes catches our eye. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/danbury-commons-and-blakes-wood/
We load up the car with cameras, flask and coats and we are on our way. Mr Sat Nav decides to intrude on our journey by twice telling us to take a turning once we have passed it! Never the less we persist on, finally getting to the carpark to find a pay and display! Do we have any change between us? No, of course not. Off to the local petrol station we go, change in hand we return to pay our fare. The machine does not give change, £2.50 later we are finally ready!
After such a chaotic start I actually really enjoyed myself and we spent a couple of hours on our ramble with a few intriguing spots on the way. These are a few of the images I took along the way.
